Updated data about lactation function in puerperas and factors causing its disturbances are described. The importance of breast feeding for the child and the mother is emphasized.
Capabilities of prenatal ultrasound study of the afterbirth in intrauterine infections
59 - 62
Capabilities of ultrasound study of provisional organs of the fetus in intrauterine infection are featured. Bacterial, virus and mixed infection are shown to be characterized by ultrasound signs which can be visualized prenatally.
Contemporary aspects of mediastinal tumor diagnosis
63 - 68
Informativity of various x−ray techniques as well as CT and MRI in diagnosis of primary mediastinal tumors, including thymus tumors and cysts is compared. The indications to the use of different methods of morphological verification of the tumors has been determined. The possibility to create a diagnostic algorithm is shown.
Intra−abdominal abscesses: prevention and treatment
69 - 71
A method of prevention and treatment of intra−abdominal abscesses based on active drainage of the abdominal cavity by introduction through the canal of a tube probe of multicomponent drugs on hydrophilic base is suggested. High efficacy and reasonability of wide use of this method in clinical practice are shown.
