The authors present the findings of examination of the residents of 18 towns of Donetsk region including participants of Chornobyl accident clean−up. Common and partial regularities in frequency of controllable and uncontrollable risk factors of brain stroke were established, they were ranged according to their pathologic significance. Key risk factors of stroke in hypertension disease which are the basis for primary preventive measures are revealed.
The use of the method of induced visual and auditory brain potentials in pediatric neurology

Literature data about the use and diagnostic significance of auditory and visual IP are analyzed. The author reports the original findings of auditory and visual IP study in healthy children aged 4 − 15, which can be used as reference data.

Diagnosis of true cutaneous pseudolymphoma

The difficulties in diagnosis of true cutaneous pseudolymphoma, which should be based on anaplastic, morphological, pheno− and genotypic findings, are shown. The authors conclude that the most convincing confirmation of the diagnosis can be obtained with determining T−cell clones with polymerase chain reaction, but the absolute proof of the process reactivity is regression of clinical manifestations when the provoking factor is withdrawn.
