CONTEMPORARY ASPECTS OF MEDIASTINAL TUMOR DIAGNOSIS

Informativity of various x−ray techniques as well as CT and MRI in diagnosis of primary mediastinal tumors, including thymus tumors and cysts is compared. The indications to the use of different methods of morphological verification of the tumors has been determined. The possibility to create a diagnostic algorithm is shown.
